Please note clause 5.1 & 5.3 of the General Regulations Governing Full-time Undergraduate Studies before submission of the application.

The e-Application System will open from 2-11 November 2020 and 4-13 January 2021.  For students who submit the application by the specified periods above, their course load will be updated under CUSIS before course registration in November 2020 or before course add/drop which begins on 18 January 2021 respectively.

Please state the special reason(s) for exceeding term course load and upload detailed study plan and an unofficial transcript (if applicable) for consideration of your Major Programme on the application.

The application for exceeding term course load CANNOT be cancelled once submitted in the system.

Students may re-submit application in the system after the application process of their earlier application is COMPLETED (i.e. Approved or Rejected).  If a student is rejected by the Major Programme/Registrar in his/her application for exceeding term course load, s/he may submit with other reasons for consideration of Major Programme/Registrar again.  However, in order NOT to have repeated applications from students, each student is limited to have a MAXIMUM of 3 applications in this System for a term (including the first application).  Students should approach the Major Programme if there are other special reasons for appeal or further changes after submission of 3 applications in this System.
