FAQ for Course Selection on CUSIS
To: Full-time Undergraduate Students (excluding Associate Students)
Re: Important Reminder: 1st Term, 2025-26 Course Add/Drop ends on 19 September 2025
Dear Students,
Kindly be reminded that the course add/drop period at Departments will end on 19 September 2025 (this FRIDAY). If there are special reasons such as those listed below that you have to add/drop courses, please submit the completed add/drop form to the course offering departments concerned by 5:30 p.m. on 19 September 2025.
- To add/drop course(s) to meet prescribed term course load.
- To enroll postgraduate course(s) which departments do not allow students to enroll under CUSIS.
- To take course(s) for fulfillment of graduation requirements.
Students MUST check again their final course enrolment records under “View My Classes” of CUSIS on 19 September 2025. Any course add/drop after 19 September 2025 will be regarded as late add/drop which will only be considered for students with special reasons/circumstances. Students MUST approach the course teachers concerned for advice before submission of late add/drop application(s) under CUSIS. Relevant supporting documents MUST also be uploaded under CUSIS whenever appropriate and deemed necessary, otherwise the application(s) will not be considered. For the prescribed procedures, please refer to “Late Course Add/Drop on CUSIS” on RES website.
Please note that students should finalize their course enrolment within the course add/drop period which will end on 19 September 2025. Late add/drop applications are to cater for special circumstances ONLY and the deadline for submission of such applications under CUSIS is 15 November 2025 (11:59 p.m.). No late applications will be entertained.

Re: 1st Term, 2025-26 Course Add/Drop Period starts tonight
Dear Students,
The e-add/drop period under CUSIS will start TODAY at 8:30 p.m. If you wish to add or drop classes in 1st term 2025-26, please perform course add/drop on CUSIS during 8 September 2025 (8:30 p.m.) - 14 September 2025 (8:30 p.m.).
If there are special reasons/circumstances such as those listed below that you cannot add/drop the courses during the e-add/drop period, please seek advice from the course offering department during 15-19 September 2025.
- To add/drop course(s) to meet prescribed term course load.
- To enroll postgraduate classes which cannot be performed under CUSIS.
- To take course(s) for fulfillment of graduation requirements.
Students MUST check again their final course enrolment records under “View My Classes” of CUSIS on 19 September 2025 to make sure once again that the course enrollment records are correct and up-to-date.

System will be open for applications for exceeding term course load in 2nd term 2024-25 according to the following schedule. Late application will NOT be accepted.
21-29 October 2024 : for updating term course load for course registration period starting from 11 November 2024 23-31 December 2024 : for updating term course load for course add/drop period starting from 13 January 2025 - System Login
System will be open for applications according to the following schedule. Late application will NOT be considered.
20 March - 28 March 2025 : for updating YEAR course load for the course registration period 7 - 9 April 2025 24 April - 2 May 2025 : for updating YEAR course load for course add/drop period starting from 12 May 2025
