Exemptions by Attainment for New Students Admitted in 2025-26
University Core Requirements – Chinese and English Language Courses
Students are required to complete the University Core Requirements including Chinese and English Language courses in order to graduate. However, students with specific qualifications obtained prior to student registration can apply for exemptions from the language course(s) concerned. They are required to take specific language enhancement courses and other courses for fulfilment of the overall units for graduation as specified for their study programmes.
