Late Course Add/Drop on CUSIS
- Students MUST follow the prescribed procedures as follows and submit the application:
① Approach course teacher for advice. DO NOT late add/drop any courses if you have NOT approached the course teachers for advice → ② Submit application on CUSIS under “Late Course Add/Drop (UG)” for consideration of course teacher and the approval of relevant offices/Faculty Dean/Registrar → ③ Check application results on CUSIS under “Check Application Status” → ④ MUST check whether the course enrolment records under CUSIS is updated if approval is given.
It is student's own responsibility to make sure the submission is successful and to check the final result of the application under CUSIS. Notes:
a.
International Asian Studies Programme (IASP) and postgraduate students should contact the Office of Academic Links and Graduate School Office respectively for late course add/drop procedures. They cannot submit application on CUSIS for UG courses.
b.
For postgraduate courses of level 5000 or above, students MUST contact RES to obtain the hardcopy application form. Such applications are NOT to be handled under CUSIS.
c. Students who committed academic dishonesty may still be disciplined in accordance with related procedures even if they are approved to late drop the course. - For late add, please also input the Related Class (if any) of the course (e.g. tutorial, lab, etc) if the Related Class is a mandatory component. Otherwise, the application cannot be submitted. Student cannot submit more than 3 late add applications at any time.
- Please state the special reason(s) for late course add/drop. Supporting document(s) (e.g. medical certificate) pertaining to the reason(s) given on the application form should be uploaded whenever necessary. For late DROP, the application will NOT be considered if students do NOT upload supporting document as required by the Faculty.
- Students MUST click "Submit" and confirm the application details to complete the application on CUSIS. An acknowledgement email will be sent to students' campus email account after each successful submission. If students do not receive the email ONE day after their submission, please login the system to check the submission records or contact RES immediately.
- Once submitted, the application CANNOT be cancelled.
