The indicator “#” is used to indicate that the language of instruction will be changed to another if students do not know the language of instruction, e.g. C#E is that the course is conducted in Cantonese but will change to English when there is any student who does not know Cantonese. Students should communicate with the course teaching staff concerned if they have difficulty in understanding the language used in the class. The language of instruction may be changed from that indicated in the timetable subject to a unanimous consent of students enrolled in the course by a secret ballot conducted after the add/drop period.

However, please note that course registration criteria (e.g. add/drop consent, reserved quota, etc.) will only be confirmed and uploaded to CUSIS in early August 2021. Students can also check remaining quotas, if applicable, for each class by searching the timetable information using system function (iii) during course registration.
