Collection of Degree Certificates

for Graduates of Full-time Undergraduate Programmes, 2nd term 2024-25

(Degree Conferment Date: 15 October 2025)

The degree certificates for graduates with degree conferment date 15 October 2025 will be available for collection according to the information below. However, for any graduates with outstanding debts to the University, their degree certificate will be withheld (See point 3 below).

Graduates may use our online application system under CUSIS that will be open on 23 October 2025 (for graduates with certificate print date as 15 October 2025) and 17 November 2025 (for those who opted for 15 November 2025 as certificate print date) to request the certificate be sent to them by Speedpost. Detailed arrangements are available on the relevant webpage of the Registration and Examinations Section. The fee for delivery of degree certificate (Speedpost) are as follows.

Please note that the University accepts no responsibilities for any loss/defacement and delay of the degree certificate during postal delivery by the Speedpost service. The normal processing time is 5 – 7 working days upon receipt of the application. For the estimated delivery time by Speedpost, please refer to the website of Speedpost. Graduates who wish to use other courier services instead of Speedpost should collect the certificate by authorization with reference to the information listed in (2) and make their own arrangements for other courier services.

Gaduates may collect the degree certificates at our office in person or by authorization. Graduates are required to present their original HKID card (not scanned copy on mobile device) in collecting the certificates. Graduates may also authorize another person to collect on their behalf by completing the “Authorization Form for the Collection of Degree Certificate of Undergraduate Programmes” and present the relevant identification documents.

Venue and time for collection of degree certificate are as follows:

Opening hours on Christmas Eve (24 December 2025), New Year’s Eve (31 December 2025) and Lunar New Year’s Eve (16 February 2026): 9:00am – 1:00pm

Clause 14.1 of the General Regulations Governing Full-time Undergraduate Studies stipulates that “The Degree Certificate shall be issued to a student after s/he has been conferred a degree by the University. Degree Certificates for graduates with outstanding debts to the University will be withheld until the accounts are settled.”

If graduates have any outstanding items, e.g. unreturned library materials, late payment penalty, etc., please settle them with relevant offices as soon as possible.

The degree certificate is an important document. Please keep it in a safe place after collection. We regret that any degree certificates uncollected for SEVEN years from the award year will be destroyed without further notification.
