FINAL Examination Timetable, 2nd Term 2025-26

Dear Students,

Please note the following pertaining to arrangements of centralized course examinations of 2nd term 2025-26.

1.

FINAL Examination Timetable

The FINAL Examination Timetable has been released on CUSIS today (19 March 2026) under the tab “Exam Timetable for UG Courses”.  Students MUST check carefully their FINAL Examination Timetable for the date, time, venue and seat number assigned for each examination.  For examinations to be held by individual Departments/Schools/Programmes, seat numbers will NOT be assigned in students’ final examination timetable.  Students concerned should follow the arrangements of Departments/Schools/Programmes concerned in seating arrangements.

For individual students who have reported their special educational needs (SEN) to the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), the FINAL Examination Timetable released will NOT be applicable to them.  These students should receive their individual FINAL Examination Timetable via e-mail around 2 April 2026 after related arrangements have been worked out with Departments/Schools/Programmes concerned.

Students MUST attend the course examinations according to the information stated in their Final Examination Timetable.  If a student goes to the wrong examination venue, they will NOT be allowed to sit for the examination there.  They must make their own way to the correct venue, and no time compensation will be given if they arrive late for that examination session.

2.

Absence from Centralized Course Examinations

A student who is absent from any examination without permission shall be given a failure grade in that examination.  Students who cannot attend the examination(s) on the specified examination date stated in the FINAL Examination Timetable MUST apply for absence from examination in accordance with related University Regulations, as appropriate.  Please refer to our e-mail dated 5 March 2026 for information about absence from centralized course examinations.  The application form for absence from examination is available on the website of the Registration and Examinations Section (RES) of the Registry.

3.

Other Important Information

Please read carefully the “Rules to be Observed by Candidates at Examination Centre” before taking the examinations.  Any students who violate the examination rules are subject to disciplinary action taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offence.  Please refer to “CUHK disciplinary guidelines and procedures” posted on the website of Honesty in Academic Work: A Guide for Students and Teachers for details.  For other information in relation to Centralized Course Examinations, please visit the RES website.
