Dear Students,
Kindly note the following information pertaining to first term, 2026-27 course registration and add/drop. For details, please refer to “First Term, 2026-27 Course Registration and Add/Drop” on RES website.
1. Schedule of First Term Course Registration
The schedule and the login time for course registration are as follows:

Students can also check their login time for course registration under “Enrolment Dates” on CUSIS starting from 4 August 2026, and should always refer to the login time stated for the time slot allocated for them for course registration.
2. Application for Exceeding Term Course Load for 1st term 2026-27
Students should take note of Clauses 5.1-5.3 of the General Regulations Governing Full-time Undergraduate Studies regarding course load to be taken in any academic term. Any students under special circumstances who have to apply for exceeding term course load MUST submit the application under CUSIS within the following application periods. They SHOULD also read the information on RES website before submitting the application. LATE applications will NOT be considered.

3. Renewal of Visa/Permit (if applicable)
Students who require a visa/permit for study are reminded to ensure that they hold a valid visa/permit that has been activated for study at CUHK before the start of the term. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to attend any study-related activities. If necessary, please apply for an extension of stay with the Immigration Department within 4 weeks before the limit of stay expires. Once the application is approved, students MUST promptly update their visa information and upload the new visa under CUSIS.
