Re: Suspension of CUSIS from 6:00p.m. on 14 February to 8:45a.m. on 26 February 2020
As informed by the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC), major system upgrade of the Chinese University Student Information System (CUSIS) will be performed and CUSIS will NOT be available for use during its black-out period (from 6:00p.m. on 14 February to 8:45a.m. on 26 February 2020). To avoid any delay in your application(s), please submit the following application(s), if necessary, by the following deadlines.
Review and submit your application(s) by 31 January 2020 for course and unit exemption. If you have NOT yet submitted all the required documents such as official transcript and course outlines, your application(s) cannot be processed BEFORE CUSIS black-out period.
For graduating students who need to declare concentration/stream of their Major subject, they should submit the declaration under CUSIS on or before 5 February 2020.
For any students who need to apply for official/student copy of transcripts, certifying letters, and/or reports on curriculum details, please submit the application(s) to RES on or before 12 February 2020. Otherwise, the required document(s) may NOT be processed during the black-out period.
For any students who need to change their mailing address, they should do so as soon as possible before 13 February 2020 so that the system can record the updated mailing address.
As you will NOT be able to retrieve records under CUSIS during the black-out period, you may wish to keep/save a copy of your unofficial transcript showing the full record of your grades and course history up to the moment before CUSIS is shut down for its upgrade. Please also review your own academic records after CUSIS is back to service at 8:45a.m. on 26 February 2020; and if there are any discrepancies, please report them to RES by 2 March 2020.
Please also observe announcement from ITSC and other related departments if there are any further suspension of other system(s) as CUSIS records may also be linked up to other systems as well.
Thank you for your attention.
With best regards,
